Operational Analytics & Improvement

Find what is slowing you down. Put a better process to work.

Slipping margins, stretched teams and recurring delays need more than another report. We use your data to understand the cause, then work with the people involved to implement and measure a practical improvement.

A bounded starting example

A billing-review queue with clear next actions.

One possible scope to discuss, tailored to your systems and agreed in a proposal. This is an illustrative engagement, not a client case study.

Start with

One team, one recurring billing-preparation process and the agreed job-status and time or fee records. Your process owner approves access and the rules for work entering review.

What you take away

A baseline of waiting time and rework, a working review queue with a named owner for each exception, and an agreed reminder or routing step. The team tests normal and failed cases, then measures progress against the baseline.

Where the scope stops

Client communications, invoice approval and accounting decisions stay with your team. A practice-system replacement, autonomous billing and additional integrations are excluded unless agreed separately. The proposal sets timing, fee and acceptance criteria.

What this looks like

Turn a performance problem into a practical change.

01

Understand pressure on margin and capacity.

Examine the agreed project, time and cost data to find where rework, scope changes or hand-offs are affecting delivery. Put an improved review, allocation or escalation process into use with the responsible managers.

02

Keep work moving between people and systems.

Improve a recurring process such as information collection, request routing or billing preparation. Reduce repeated entry and chasing through clearer steps, useful automation and practical AI where it earns its place.

Explore workflow automation

These are examples, not client case studies. Your proposal defines what we will deliver for your business.

What is included

Know what you are getting.

01

A clear starting point

A baseline for the chosen problem, such as handling effort, waiting time, rework or agreed measures of margin and capacity.

02

Analysis of the causes

A focused review of the relevant data and workflow, separating symptoms from the steps and decisions that need to change.

03

An implemented improvement

A revised workflow, operating review or automated process, with the agreed connections and clear responsibilities.

04

Automation where it helps

Where included in the agreed scope, use rules and integrations for predictable tasks, or AI for a specific, checkable job with appropriate human review.

05

Testing and adoption

Test normal cases and exceptions with the people doing the work. Train the team and agree how failures or unusual cases are handled.

06

Evidence of progress

Track the agreed measures against the starting point, document the result and hand over the process with clear operating responsibilities.

How the work happens

Progress you can follow.

You know what is happening, who is responsible and what comes next.

  1. 01

    Choose one outcome worth improving.

Agree the process, business effect, responsible owner and scope. Confirm what an improvement would look like and how it can be measured.

  2. 02

Understand the cause and make the change.

During paid delivery, analyse the relevant data and process. Build and test the agreed improvement with the team who will use it.

  3. 03

Put it into use and measure progress.

Introduce the new way of working, train users and compare the agreed measures. Hand over ownership and make the next steps clear.

A good fit

When this makes sense.

  • A recurring operational problem affects time, margin, capacity or delivery.
  • The team needs to understand the cause and implement a change.
  • A responsible manager can support access, decisions and adoption.
  • One bounded process can be improved without a company-wide transformation.

Before you commit

What the service does not cover.

  • The work covers one agreed operational outcome, with defined systems and process boundaries.
  • Changes are agreed with your process owner. Material business decisions remain with your team.
  • AI is used only where its purpose, permissions, checks and exception handling are clear.
  • Results are measured against an agreed baseline. A particular saving or return is not guaranteed.

Practical questions

Before we get started.

What does the 30-day defect-fix window cover?

For 30 days after handover, we correct defects in the delivered work against the agreed acceptance criteria. New requirements or additional functionality are scoped separately.

Is this an advisory report or a working solution?

The service includes implementing an agreed improvement. Analysis helps identify what to change, then we build, test and introduce it with your team. The proposal makes the intended result and deliverables clear.

Do we need a Data & Reporting project first?

No. If your existing information is sufficient, we can start with the operational problem. Any data preparation needed is agreed within scope. If dependable reporting is the main gap, Data & Reporting may be the better first step.

Does every improvement use automation or AI?

No. Clearer responsibilities, better review processes or a simple integration may solve the problem. Automation and AI are available within project work when they make the process more dependable and useful.

What happens before we commit?

We start with a free 30-minute discovery conversation. Where useful, one free walkthrough of up to 45 minutes follows, led by your team. These establish fit and scope at a high level. Detailed analysis, process mapping, solution design, prioritisation, a business case or a written roadmap require an agreed paid scope.
